It looks like Taylor Swift may be in the hot seat after it has been recently discovered that the singer had known of the masters deal beforehand. According to RadarOnline, Swift’s father, Scott Swift who had been a stakeholder at Big Machine Label Ground knew in advance along with her management team of the catalog sale.
The deal happened back in 2019 and according to multiple sources, Taylor Swift was approached on several different occasions with the opportunity to purchase her catalog. This situation resulted in the bashing of Scooter Braun where he oversaw the deal and Ithaca acquired BMLG for over $300 million, and Swift still benefitted from royalties.
DailyMail had also reviewed emails that shown that documents were signed by her father in regards to the deal that negates the stolen masters situation. Now, many are left quite shocked at the revelation and are seeking for Swift herself to address the claims.
