Tia Mowry’s divorce from ex-husband Cory Hardrict has come to a close as the proceedings are nearly finalized. The actress has recently shared her decision regarding her reason to get a divorce from Hardrict.
“A part of my decision was also for them. For them seeing their mother walk in truth. I feel like it’s a great lesson for them because it was not an easy decision. It was one of the hardest decisions that I had ever had to make in my entire life.” she says to the HelloBeautiful outlet.
Continuing she says, “But if they see that mommy can do it, that mommy, no matter what people say, no matter, even if there’s some sort of doubt, whatever, mommy pushed through. ][They would say] ‘my mommy is living and chasing her truth’. I want my children to do that. That’s the best gift I can give them.”
Mowry shook the internet up when she announced back in October 2022 that the pair were separating via Instagram. The two share 5-year-old daughter, Cairo and 11-year-old son, Cree. They were married for 14 years.
