Tory Lanez’s sentencing has been delayed until Tuesday as the judge over the case is currently reviewing over 70 letters in support of Lanez, including one being from rapper Iggy Azalea.
Journalist Meghann Cuniff has detailed that Iggy’s letter spoke of Tory Lanez being “remorseful” and has “talked in detail about the event and what he could have done to prevent it.”
Megan The Stallion also had a victim impact statement read by the DA where she says that “I have not experienced a single day of peace. He lied to anyone that would listen.”
As of now, prosecutors are seeking for Lanez to receive 13 years, but Lanez’s lawyers are asking for the rapper to receive probation and enrollment into a drug treatment program as this all stems from “psychological, physical, and childhood trauma” that has affected his behavior along with alchohol.
