Thomar Latrell Simmons is speaking out of the incident that happened this summer involving his now ex-girlfriend, Carlee Russsell, where she faked her own kidnapping that had caught attention nation wide.
On his podcast 205 Boyz, he shared insight of how his life has been since everything has happened.
“Trying to get back to my normal life, but it’s never going to be normal for me. I can’t even go around Birmingham without people knowing who I am. It’s crazy, bro.” he shared.
“I was doing a dash to Hoover,” he said. “I got there in 15 minutes.”
When sharing of learning the news that the kidnapping that supposedly took place July 13 was a Hoax, he expressed his thoughts behind it.
“I was mad. I was sad. I was all type of emotion.”
He also dug into events that took place before the incident.
“We had a little argument, but it was nothing to kidnap yourself over,” Simmons said.
He also spoke on how the internet initially bashed him and his character.
“It made me mad because people were talking down on my character. People were saying I was a cheater and I’m this and that, a player, and I’m like, ‘Our relationship was five years, man,'” he disclosed. “If you really want to tell me the truth, you could’ve told me before all this happened, before the police came out. You had time to tell me.”
