Tennis Athlete Naomi Osaka has officially announced her return to tennis after taking a break for some time. Speaking with ESPN, Osaka shared how it felt to return to the U.S. Open and being in that environment again.
“It feels like seeing an old friend again. I went through the little players’ tunnel, but obviously, I’m not playing. It made me itch to want to play again, but I guess I’ll have to wait until next year.” she spoke to ESPN’S Chris McKendry.
Speaking of her newborn daughter, Shai that she recently welcomed with rapper Cordae, she shared of how motherhood has been for her.
“It’s definitely a weird feeling knowing that someone relies on me. I still call my mom all the time, and knowing that this little person is going to grow up and do the same … I’m excited for it.”
She also recently updated social media users of how her life has been going for the past few months.
“Well that was a cool little intermission, now back to your regularly scheduled program 🎾✌🏾💕” she wrote in her caption.
