Rapper 21 Savage is finally considered to be an official US citizen after he had been taken into ICE custody in 2019 for being here illegally. The world had learned that 21 was actually from United Kingdom and had only been here since a young child.
The news was revealed through Drake’s album, For All The Dogs on the song “8am in Charlotte” where he rapped the lyrics:
“Savage got a green card straight out of the consulate / Where I go, you go, brother, we Yugoslavian.”
With that being said, Savage is free to officially leave the country and go back to the UK or anywhere he pleases.
