The nature of singer and actress Teyana Taylor and NBA player and actor Iman Shumpert’s divorce had just went public as of recently. The two had previously announced that they were separated back on September 18 of this year, but stated that the two were still family and “best friends.”
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, however it has been revealed that Taylor quietly filed for divorce earlier this year due to Iman’s “narcissistic and jealous ways.” It also further stated that Teyana Taylor had dealt with Shumpert being jealous and insecure of her stardom as her demand had risen.
The documents also dig further to share where Taylor has dealt with all his cheating scandals, DUI arrests and “cruel” behavior. She noted she had to “intentionally dim her light for her husband to try to have a harmonious and peaceful marriage as Iman became more and more angry.”
Ultimately, Teyana stated that she was “unable to handle the emotional rollercoaster.” From the divorce settlement, she is seeking temporary and permanent primary physical custody, joint legal custody and child support.
Teyana however, has just spoken online where she says the information was leaked even though she filed privately.
