Angel Reese made recent headlines after it had been announced that she would be sitting out for a few games since November 14th. Speaking with Fox News, the basketball star spoke of her return and how it felt.
“It felt great. I mean, it was a long two weeks or a week and a half, two weeks. Taking time to yourself is really important. I feel like that’s just something that was important in resetting and refocusing within the team. I’m just happy to be back.” she details.
She took a two long break due to unknown reasons but many speculated that she took a mental break or had to be benched due to her academic grades being down, to which she has debunked. Reese herself also spoke of her return on Instagram after it was alleged that she and teammate Flaujae Johnson had fallen out due to drama between their mothers which too had been said to be false.
“just make sure that apology is as loud as the disrespect.” she wrote in her caption.
