Just as Ja Morant made his return back to the games after his suspension, he has now suffered a torn labrum. The Grizzles have released a statement regarding Morant’s season ending injury:
“At Saturday’s training session, Morant suffered a subluxation of his right shoulder. Following ongoing soreness and instability, Morant underwent an MRI that revealed an underlying labral tear. Morant will undergo season-ending surgery and is expected to make a full recovery ahead of the 2024-25 season. “
He broke his silence of the announcement of his injury on Instagram.

During this season, Morant was only able to play 9 games due to the 25 game suspension as it had been lifted on December 19th.
