It looks like Chrisean Rock may be catching some heat from law enforcement as victim James Wright has pushed forward with pressing charges against the rapper. According to the filing that was dated back to January 23, Rock is being hit with assault with a deadly weapon and battery on a person with injury.
According to legal documents, obtained by TMZ, Wright says that he experienced two broken teeth and lacerations to the face. He also stated that she struck him several times with “large champion style rings” along with calling him a homophobic slur. The situation happened last year on November 10th during Tamar Braxton’s show backstage where the physical assault took place.
Ultimately, Wright is suing for assault, battery, and emotional distress and seeking compensation for his medical bills and other things. As of now, Rock is set to have an arraignment take place on February 27th.
