It appears that reality star, Porsha Williams’ husband Simon Guobadia may be having some immigration issues and may be facing deportation. According to a 13-page petition filed on January 11, Guobadia had applied for U.S. citizenship but it had been denied in 2022. Since 1982, Guobadia has been in and out of the US due to overstaying his visa, along with committing credit card fraud and being arrested in 1987, 1989, 1990, and 1992 that ultimately led to him being physically removed from the country.
He had requested for naturalization, but had been denied due to it being unlawfully been granted after undergoing a different identity for some time. In 2020, Guobadia filed once again for citizenship where he was denied. Lastly in 2023, he has filed a complaint requesting that the Court remove the denial and grant him citizenship, which led to the January 11th petition seeking for his complaint to be thrown out.
Guobadia has responded to the news where he simply says he isn’t worried about it
“i dey kampe, no shaky. Happy Sunday??” he wrote, which translates to “I’m doing well.”
