Ashanti’s mother, Tina Douglas is letting everyone know to put a pause on assuming what’s going on with her daughter. Speaking at the Women’s Impact luncheon on stage, she was congratulated for her daughter’s assumed pregnancy to which she replied:
“There’s been no announcement, it hasn’t come out yet. Until I hear it from Ashanti, but it hasn’t been officially announced yet,” She shared.
Speculation began of Ashanti and Nelly expecting a baby together began last year when it was confirmed by US Weekly along with the two teasing of a baby at Nelly’s Black and White Ball where the couple was seen on stage putting their hands on her stomach and holding it there.Â
