Halle Bailey has just released her latest single titled “In Your Hands” after teasing the song in her behind the scenes of her maternity shoot in January . The song acts as a dedication to her baby boy, Halo that she welcomed in with her longtime boyfriend, DDG last year.

Some time on Instagram Live she shared the meaning behind the record and how she wrote it while pregnant. “The beautiful thing about the song as well is that, the verses that I wrote, I wrote when I was pregnant. In a way it has a double meaning, the verses are almost to Halo because I felt like I was singing to him. Just about how I’m always going to be there for him and my journey as his mother and all these things. And it made me really happy.”

On the song, Bailey can be heard singing on the chorus lyrics such as:
“In your hands, in your hands / The world is yours when I’m in it / In your hands, in your hands / You can’t let go or you’ll lose your chance / ‘Cause after me, you’ll never fall in love again”
She also has released a music video for the song and it includes her baby boy Halo as she sings in a mountainous region while pouring out her heart and strumming a guitar. Check out “In Your Hands” video below.
