Kevin Hunter, who is Wendy Williams’ ex husband, is seeking his payment of spousal support from Williams and he has recently went to the courts. In his petition, he stated that he hasn’t been paid for two years since Williams had been place under guardianship.
He also emphasized on the agreement that was in place in their divorce regarding “severance pay” under “Matrimonial Settlement Agreement.”
“This is an emergent matter because I rely on the severance pay for my living expenses, and having been without this income for twenty-three months has affected me greatly. Therefore, I respectfully request that the Court require to immediately pay all severance payments which may be due and owing at the time of this Court’s Order. I would not have had to file this motion if [Williams] did not stop my severance payments and if [she] would have signed the Qualified Domestic Relations Order for the SAG-AFTRA Retirement Plan,” he wrote in the statement.
The two had gotten divorced officially in 2020 after Williams had filed for divorce in 2018 after Hunter had cheated during their nearly 20 years of marriage. Williams is still currently under guardianship as she is navigating through her health issues.
