In a new vlog uploaded by rapper DDG, he along with Trippie Redd spoke of fatherhood, where Trippie shockingly revealed that he “thought he had a child” but turned out that according to DNA testing, the child wasn’t his. During the video, the two were taking a tour of Trippie’s home where he dropped the news.
“Bruh, I got a DNA test. I don’t even got a kid,” he shared. “I swear, bro. I thought I did, and then I told the world that. Like, ahead of time, I never got no DNA test. And I ended up getting a DNA test and it wasn’t my kid.”
He continued, “My mom was like, very like, get a DNA test. You know how moms be. They be knowing. She was like, ‘Get a DNA test.'”
DDG asked him questions regarding the situation, asking “did it mess with him a little bit” to which Trippie agreed it did.
“Yes. I feel like all the things I was going through during that time was like, really f—ing with me. That’s why I couldn’t go on tour, or like, couldn’t do shows and s–t. I couldn’t really get in my spunk, and feel good and s–t. It was a lot of s–t going on. Just a lot of confusion. I mean, it’s life. A lot of s–t just happens. Maybe it happened for a reason.”
DDG further asked him while consoling Trippie, if he spent time with the child. “Yeah. Hell yeah. Buying clothes and s–t, holding ’em, kissing ’em.”
Just last year back in November 2023, the rapper had announced the birth of a son, which was to be his first child.
“You guys have been talking about tour and why I cancel it, you want an explanation so boom, I’m dropping a project named St Michael, right? What if I was to tell you that’s my son’s name and I canceled tour because I had to deliver my son,” he previously shared.
