Tupac Estate Possibly Looking To Sue Drake Over ‘Taylor Made Freestyle’

It looks like Drake may be in the hot seat after releasing “Taylor Made Freestyle” to diss Kendrick Lamar as it has been reported that Tupac’s Estate is threatening to sue after sending out a cease and desist to the OVO honcho. According to a letter obtained by TMZ, the family’s attorney, Howard King wrote in the cease and desist letter stating:

“Not only is the record a flagrant violation of Tupac’s publicity and the estate’s legal rights, it is also a blatant abuse of the legacy of one of the greatest hip-hop artists of all time,” he states. “The estate would never have given its approval for this use. The unauthorized, equally dismaying use of Tupac’s voice against Kendrick Lamar, a good friend to the Estate who has given nothing but respect to Tupac and his legacy publicly and privately, compounds the insult. “

It further went on to say that Drake is well aware of the harm that AI can cause as he went through the same last year over the ghost writer releasing a song titled “Heart On My Sleeve.”

The song will more than likely be removed from streaming and social media platforms if Drake complies with the cease and desist.
