In regards for the HBO Series Euphoria, it looks like things may be up in the air as Zendaya has recently spoken of the show’s current status. Speaking to Variety, she shared that she was “unsure” of when production would begin for the 3rd season.
“If it’s right for the characters and everything turns out the way it should, of course, but it’s beyond me,” Zendaya shared.
Adding to her comment she says that she’s “not in charge” of season three’s status. Storm Reid, who plays as Zendaya’s character Rue, little sister Gia, she also spoke with Variety days prior where she shared her thoughts of season 3.
“I would hope the viewers, the audience will be able to finish the show. I think we should handle the show with care. We’ve put our hearts and soul into it.”
The Euphoria cast had experienced a devastating loss of co-star Angus Cloud after he passed away last year, along with the passing of producer Kevin Turen. Outside of delays that took place due to the writer’s strike last year, the show had a date of being released in 2025.
