Mogul Jeezy has recently broken his silence regarding his divorce to TV Show host, Jeannie Mai as he has sat down with Nia Long. The two shared their grievances of a relationship not working as he detailed the reasonings behind their split.
He expressed his “disappointment” where he went further to explain his feelings. “I can tell you that I’m saddened. I can tell you I’m disappointed. I can tell you that I’m uneasy,” Jeezy says.
“I can only do what I can do. I can’t expect someone else to do what I’m doing.” he laments. “As I sit here at 46 … I can’t honestly tell you that I’ve experienced love, especially not unconditional.”
He also further shared that he felt that God has put him on a “different path” than his estranged wife.
God has put me on a different path, and that path is going to entail for me to take care of myself and to love myself and to be in the best situation that I can thrive as someone who’s been through all of the things that I’ve been through.”
On October 19th, Jeezy released a statement regarding their divorce confirming the news along with stating that his “love and respect for Jeannie remains and the time we spent together holds a cherished place in my heart.”
