Jeannie Mai is seeking for judge in their divorce proceeding to not enforce the prenup between her and rapper Jeezy. The two have split after 2 years of marriage and welcoming their daughter Moroco.
According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, Mai claimed that she didn’t have enough time to look over the prenuptial documents before signing them days before their wedding. In the documents it stated she had:
“significant concerns about the adequacy and thoroughness of the due diligence process, and each party’s ‘full and fair disclosure’ of their financial positions.”
The documents also stated that the “compressed timeframe” was “inherently challenging, if not impossible” for the two to “engage in comprehensive due diligence.”
In all, she is requesting for the judge to give her and her legal team time to assess the prenup “thoroughly.”
