Taylor Swift just released her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department where she notably shaded Kim Kardashian and Ye in the song “thanK you aIMee”. The track noticibly spells out the name KIM as the two have a long history of a feud along with Kim’s ex-husband Kanye West.
Within the song Swift sings the lyrics:
“All that time you were throwin’ punches, I was buildin’ somethin’ / And I can’t forgive the way you made me feel / Screamed ‘F— you, Aimee’ to the night sky, as the blood was gushin’ /But I can’t forget the way you made me heal.”
She further sings the lyrics:
“And maybe you’ve reframed it/And in your mind, you never beat my spirit black and blue / I don’t think you’ve changed much / And so I changed your name, and any real defining clues,” she sings.
Their feud stemmed from Ye releasing his song “Famous” in 2016 where he rapped “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b—-h famous,” where Swift denied hearing the last part where he said “I made that b—h famous.” Kim had released videos of a call between Taylor Swift and Ye discussing the song to show that she was aware.
